If you have a particular order for me to read them in, or any ideas of other books I should read, shoot me a comment! Have a great day folks! :)
I just finished Watership Down, on suggested of one Matthew West. It wasn't really my favorite book. I felt like it sort of ran on and on without a certain direction, and became redundant so in the end, when I knew Matthew West had seen one strong moral standing out at him, I couldn't find one, and the many I saw were largely unrelated. Love the reading list, keep it up!
ReplyDeleteSorry Mason, I hadn't read it since 5th grade, so my tastes have probably evolved a bit since then.
DeleteHmm, I'll have to see!
ReplyDeleteI've read some, I highly recommend "A God Named Desire" and "The Screwtape Letters" for spiritual content, and "Fahrenheit 451" for interest. Can't say I recommend "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". I found it intensely boring, rambling, and just about pointless. My most recent book I've finished and highly recommend is "95 Theses on Righteousness by Faith", by Morris Venden. Also recommend (with a grain of salt) "The Last Child in the Woods". Other than a bit of starry-eyed environmentalist utopianism (don't get me wrong, I'm all for conservation but I don't think the human race will achieve perfection through conservation), it was a good book.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recommendations! I'll definitely check those books out and if you find any more you think are interesting let me know! Have you ever read the space trilogy by C.S. Lewis, I'd like to hear what you think of them.
